Potatoes with Salad

On the party buffet, as an appetizer or hearty side dish: The baked potatoes with salad from Spoonsparrow are guaranteed to be a hit!

Ingredients

  • 4 large mostly waxy boiled potatoes
  • 60 g Butter
  • 4 tbsp sweet heavy cream
  • 100 g grated Emmental cheese
  • Salt
  • black pepper (freshly ground)
  • nutmeg
  • 1 jar Puszta salad (190 g net weight)
  • butter
  • Basil
  • Chives

Instructions

    Cut a small lid off the freshly boiled potatoes and hollow them out. While still warm, mix the potato flesh with butter and cream until creamy, fold in grated cheese, season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg, then let cool.

    Fill the well-drained Puszta salad into the hollowed potatoes and use a piping bag with a large nozzle to spread the potato mixture on top.

    Place the stuffed potatoes in a greased baking dish and bake at 220°C for about 15–20 minutes. Garnish with basil and chives before serving.
