Ingredients

  • 400 g firm potatoes
  • 1 pear
  • 1 onion
  • 150 g kabanossi (or salami)
  • 200 g seedless white grapes
  • 400 g sauerkraut (fresh or canned)
  • 200 g crème fraîche
  • 60 g grated Gouda cheese
  • 2 tbsp chopped chives
  • Salt
  • ground pepper

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 180°C with fan and top heating.

    Peel, wash, and dice the potatoes. Wash the pear, quarter it, remove the core, and dice the quarters. Peel and dice the onion. Dice the kabanossi as well. Spread the grapes together with the potatoes, pear, onions, and kabanossi in a baking dish (or four individual portions). Drain the sauerkraut well and spread it over the fruit mixture. Mix the crème fraîche with Gouda and chives, season with salt and pepper, then spoon over the sauerkraut. Bake for about 40 minutes until golden brown.
