Ingredients

  • 1 kg starchy potatoes
  • 2 tbsp clarified butter
  • 2 red onions
  • 100 g Ham
  • Salt
  • pepper (from grinder)
  • 250 ml milk
  • 125 g flour
  • 2 Eggs
  • nutmeg

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 180°C fan. Line a tart pan with parchment paper.

    Peel the potatoes and slice thinly or grate them. Fry in hot clarified butter for 8-10 minutes until lightly golden brown. Peel, halve, and cut the onions into strips. Dice the ham and mix it with the onions and potatoes. Sauté briefly, season with salt and pepper, then spread evenly in the baking pan.

    Whisk the milk with flour and eggs to make a smooth pancake batter, seasoning with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Pour over the potato mixture and bake in the oven for about 30 minutes until golden brown. Remove from the oven and cut into pieces; serve as desired with colorful salad.
