Ingredients

  • 3 onions
  • 600 g cooked potatoes
  • 2 tbsp spelt flour
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tsp Cornstarch
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • a pinch nutmeg
  • 3 tbsp Rapeseed oil

Instructions

    Peel and grate the onions. Peel and grate the potatoes. Mix both with flour, egg, and starch, then season heavily with salt, pepper, and nutmeg.

    Spread the potato‑onion mixture on a 1 cm thick baking sheet lined with parchment paper and cut out circles with a round cutter (5 cm diameter).

    Heat oil in a pan and fry the potato‑onion circles until golden brown on both sides. Remove and serve immediately.
