Ingredients

  • 600 g potatoes (mostly waxy)
  • Salt
  • 500 g broccoli
  • 150 g Smoked salmon
  • 1 tsp butter (for greasing the dish)
  • 200 g whipping cream (1 cup)
  • Pepper
  • freshly grated nutmeg
  • 100 g medieval Gouda cheese
  • a few chervil leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

    Wash potatoes thoroughly and boil in salted water for about 20 minutes. Clean broccoli, rinse, cut into florets and cook in salted water for 5 minutes. Drain broccoli and briefly shock with cold water. Drain potatoes, peel and slice.

    Cut salmon into pieces. Grease a baking dish. Add potatoes, broccoli and salmon to the dish.

    Season cream with a little salt, pepper and nutmeg. Grate Gouda cheese. Pour cream over the mixture and sprinkle Gouda on top. Bake in preheated oven at 200°C (gas: level 3-4, fan: 180°C) for about 25 minutes.

    Serve sprinkled with chervil leaves.
