Ingredients
- 800 g potatoes
- 1 onion
- 1 Garlic clove
- 1 tbsp dried herbs de Provence
- 500 g ground beef
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp paprika powder
- 0.125 l vegetable broth
- Salt
- Pepper

Wash the potatoes and cook them in a pot of boiling salted water for about 20 minutes, peel and slice into rounds. Peel the garlic, press it, and mix with herbs. Dice the onion finely and combine with the ground beef. Mix in the egg, salt, pepper, and paprika.

If needed, grease the baking dish. Form a ring of ground beef around the edge of the dish and layer the seasoned potato slices in a brick-like pattern in the center.

Pour vegetable broth over the layers. Bake the casserole in the oven at 200 °C (180 °C fan; gas: level 3) for about 25–30 minutes.
