Ingredients
- 300 g flour
- 1 pinch salt
- 200 g butter (in small pieces)
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 125 g sugar
- 1 packet poppy seed mix (ready-made)

Knead all ingredients except the poppy seed mix into a smooth dough, shape into a ball, wrap in foil and refrigerate for about 30 minutes.

On a floured work surface roll the dough to a thickness of about 5 mm into a rectangle, spread the poppy seed mixture over it, and roll the dough tightly from one long side.

Cut into slices about 5 mm wide and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 18 minutes until golden yellow, then remove and cool.
