- 200 g Flour
- 3 egg yolks
- 3 tbsp whipping cream
- 1 tsp Baking powder
- a pinch of salt
- 2 tbsp rum
- flour (for dusting)
- butterclarified fat (for frying)
- powdered sugar (for dusting)

Sift the flour and combine with the egg yolks, cream, baking powder, salt, and rum to form a smooth, firm dough. On a floured work surface, roll out thinly and cut into strips about 2 × 12 cm using a pastry cutter.

Cut each strip lengthwise in the middle, then pull one end of the dough through so that a loop forms. Fry portions in hot clarified butter (about 170 °C) for 2–3 minutes until golden brown. Drain on kitchen paper and dust with powdered sugar before serving.
