Ingredients

  • 1 untreated orange
  • 200 g cornmeal
  • 100 g ground almonds (peeled)
  • 150 g honey
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 300 g yogurt
  • 5 eggs
  • 200 g butter

    Preheat the oven to 180°C with fan and top heat. Line a springform pan with parchment paper.

    Grate the orange zest and squeeze its juice. Combine both with cornmeal, almonds, honey, baking powder, yogurt, and eggs in a bowl. Add melted butter and mix well. Pour the batter into the pan, smooth the surface, and bake for about 50 minutes until golden brown.

    Let the cake cool in the pan. Slice as desired and serve topped with whipped cream and garnished with rosemary sprigs.
