Plum Nectar Jam

A jam made with fresh plums and nectarines, sweetened with preserve sugar and spiced with cloves, star anise, vanilla bean pulp, cinnamon stick, and a splash of red wine. Try this recipe and others from Spoonsparrow!

Ingredients

  • 250 g ripe blue plums
  • 250 g nectarines
  • 500 g preserve sugar (1:1)
  • 3 Cloves
  • 1 star anise
  • 1 vanilla bean (pulp)
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 100 ml red wine

Instructions

    Wash the plums and nectarines, quarter them and remove the pits. Mix with the sugar and spices in a pan and heat.

    Deglaze with the red wine and simmer on high heat for 4 minutes. Remove from the stove and let cool. Serve in the pan.
