Ingredients

  • 1.2 kg blue plums (Zwetschgen)
  • 500 g gelesugar (2:1)
  • 1 lemon (juice)
  • 40 g cocoa powder (dark chocolate)

Instructions

    Wash the plums, halve them, remove pits, finely puree and mix with lemon juice and gelesugar.

    In a large pot, bring to a vigorous boil over high heat while stirring. Boil for 4 minutes, continuously stirring; finally stir in the cocoa powder.

    Remove the pot from the heat. Immediately fill hot jars with the hot mixture, filling them completely, and seal with screw caps.

    Let the jars sit on the lid for 10 minutes, then turn them upside down to cool.
