Plum Clafouti

Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 125 g sugar
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 80 g flour
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 100 g quark
  • 75 ml milk
  • 500 g plums
  • butter (for the pan)
  • 1 tsp sugar (to dust)

Instructions

    Beat the eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar until fluffy with a hand mixer. Then add the flour, salt, baking powder, quark and milk to the egg mixture and whisk well. Let rest in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes.

    Meanwhile wash, slice and pit the plums.

    Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) with upper and lower heat. Grease a round baking dish (~24 cm diameter).

    Pour the batter into the dish and press the plums into it. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes.

    Let cool, dust with sugar and serve.
