Ingredients

  • 500 g large plums
  • 3 eggs
  • 4 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 4 tbsp flour
  • 175 ml milk
  • butter (for the dish)

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 220 °C. Wash the plums, trim off the stems and remove the pits.

    Whisk the eggs with 3 tbsp powdered sugar until fluffy; fold in the flour and milk.

    Grease a heat‑proof dish, pour in the batter, smooth it out, arrange the plums on top, and bake in the preheated oven on the middle rack for about 20–30 minutes.

    Sprinkle with remaining powdered sugar and bake another 10–15 minutes. Let cool slightly and serve warm.
