Ingredients

  • 1 cucumber (ca. 400 g)
  • 200 g Cream cheese
  • 250 g yogurt
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil
  • 4 Garlic cloves
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 0.5 head iceberg lettuce
  • 4 tomatoes
  • 2 onions
  • 700 g pre-seasoned gyros meat (from the deli section)
  • 4 pita breads

Instructions

    Peel cucumber, cut lengthwise in half, remove seeds with a spoon and grate. Mix cream cheese, yogurt, lemon juice, oil, and cucumber grates. Peel garlic and press into mixture. Season with salt and pepper.

    Separate lettuce into leaves, clean, rinse, pat dry, and slice into strips. Wash tomatoes and cut into wedges. Peel onions and slice into thin rings.
