Pineapple Sauerkraut

Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 4 tbsp oil
- 500 g Sauerkraut
- Salt
- Pepper
- a pinch of allspice
- 400 g meat loaf (about 4 slices)
- 4 slices pineapple (canned)
- marjoram
Instructions

Peel and dice the onion. Heat 1 tbsp oil. Sauté onions until translucent. Break apart the sauerkraut and add it. Season with salt, pepper, and allspice. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes.

Heat 2 tbsp oil. Brown the meat loaf on both sides. Set aside warm. Add remaining oil to the pan and heat. Fry marjoram leaves for 1-2 seconds, then place on paper towels.

Cut pineapple into pieces and heat in the sauerkraut during the last 10 minutes. Taste. Arrange the sauerkraut over the meat loaf and sprinkle marjoram leaves on top.
