Ingredients

  • 1 loaf of bread
  • 1 bunch spring onions
  • 100 g sheep cheese
  • 750 g mixed ground meat
  • 2 Eggs (size M)
  • 2 tbsp Chinese spice powder
  • Salt
  • ground pepper
  • oil
  • 5 slices pineapple

Instructions

    Soak the bread in lukewarm water. Clean, wash and finely chop the spring onions. Crumble the sheep cheese finely.

    Combine the ground meat with the eggs, Chinese spice, salt, pepper, spring onions and sheep cheese in a bowl. Squeeze out excess liquid from the bread and add it. Knead everything into a smooth dough.

    With damp hands form table‑tennis‑size balls. Heat oil in a non‑stick pan and fry the balls around 8–10 minutes until golden.

    Cut pineapple into pieces and skewer each meatball with a toothpick. Optionally place them on paper molds for serving.
