Baguette with Brie, Pear and Walnut Seeds

Ingredients
- 60 g shelled walnuts
- 2 pears (e.g., Williams Christ)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 200 g Brie cheese
- 1 whole grain baguette
- pepper (ground)
- thyme for garnish

Preheat the oven to 250 °C with upper and lower heat.

Roast the walnuts in a hot pan without oil, remove, cool, and roughly chop. Peel, quarter, core, and dice the pears; immediately mix with lemon juice. Cube the brie, combine with pear cubes and walnuts. Slice the baguette into thin pieces, spread the pear‑brie mixture on each slice, and bake in the preheated oven until golden brown. Remove, season with pepper, and serve garnished with thyme.
