Pear Pasta
Here's how to make your dinner extraordinary: Try the pear pasta with radicchio and walnuts from Spoonsparrow!
Ingredients
- 2 small Shallots
- 150 g radicchio (1 small head)
- 250 g small pears (2 small pears)
- 25 g walnuts
- 200 g whole wheat pasta
- Salt
- 1.5 tbsp olive oil
- 100 ml soy cream
- black pepper
Instructions

Peel the shallots and dice them very finely.

Clean the radicchio, wash it, spin it dry, and cut it into thin strips.

Wash the pears, quarter them, remove the core, and cut them into 1 cm cubes. Roughly chop the walnuts.

Lightly toast the walnuts in a non-stick pan over medium heat without fat, then remove them. Wipe out the pan.

Cook the pasta in boiling salted water according to package directions.

Meanwhile, heat the oil in the pan, sauté the shallot and pear cubes in it over medium heat for 5-6 minutes, stirring constantly. Add the walnuts back to the pan.

Add the soy cream to the pan and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes until creamy, season with salt and pepper.

Drain the pasta well and transfer it to the sauce along with the radicchio strips. Mix everything thoroughly and serve immediately with plenty of freshly ground black pepper.
