Gnocchi Broccoli Gratin

Ingredients

  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 500 g broccoli florets
  • Salt
  • 500 g gnocchi
  • 50 g Parmesan cheese (1 piece)
  • 30 g butter (2 tbsp)
  • 30 g flour (2 tbsp)
  • 500 ml milk (1.5% fat)
  • Pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

    Wash the bell pepper, halve, remove the seeds and cut into strips. Blanch the broccoli in boiling salted water for about 5 minutes, drain and let it drain well.

    Cook the gnocchi according to package instructions in boiling salted water and also drain well.

    In the meantime, grate the Parmesan cheese. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Stir in the flour, briefly sauté. Pour in the milk, bring to a boil while stirring, remove from heat and add the Parmesan. Season with salt, pepper and freshly grated nutmeg.

    Fill a baking dish with vegetables and gnocchi, pour the sauce over it and bake in a preheated oven at 225 °C (conventional oven 200 °C; gas: level 3–4) for about 20 minutes.
