Ingredients
- 2 fully ripe pears
- 20 sheets of frozen spring roll wrapper
- 1 Egg white
- 80 g freshly grated Gouda cheese
- 1 tsp cumin
- vegetable fat for frying

Peel, halve, seed the pears and cut into finger‑thick sticks. Lay out the wrappers and brush the edges with whisked egg white. Place a pear stick on the lower third of each wrapper, sprinkle with cheese and season with cumin. Fold over the side edges and roll into spring rolls.

Once all rolls are formed, fry in hot oil (about 170 °C) for 3–4 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels.
