Ingredients

  • 150 g peanuts
  • 250 g butter
  • 80 g honey
  • 150 g chunky peanut butter
  • 5 eggs
  • 150 g brown sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon powder
  • 150 g Sour cream
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 180°C fan. Line a baking tray with parchment paper.

    Chop the peanuts and melt them with 2 tbsp butter and honey in a small saucepan over low heat. Remove from heat.

    Melt the remaining butter with peanut butter in a small saucepan while stirring, then let cool. In a bowl whisk eggs with brown sugar and cinnamon until creamy. Add peanut butter and stir. Then fold in sour cream. Mix flour with baking powder and fold into the peanut mixture.

    Spread the batter onto the tray and smooth it out. Evenly distribute the honey‑peanut mixture on top and bake for about 40 minutes (test with a skewer).

    Remove from oven and let cool on the tray.
