Ingredients
- 250 g butter
- 250 g sugar
- 1 tsp grated lemon zest
- 2 tbsp almond liqueur
- 1 tsp cookie spice
- 2 Eggs
- 300 g flour
- 300 g ground nuts (hazelnuts or walnuts)
- 1 egg yolk
- 3 tbsp milk
- 200 g dark chocolate couverture
- 200 g walnut halves
Instructions

Preheat oven to 200°C with upper and lower heat. For the dough, knead butter with sugar, lemon zest, liqueur, spice, eggs, flour, and nuts.

Spread half of the dough to a thickness of 1/2 cm on a sheet lined with parchment paper. Whisk egg yolk with milk, brush the dough thinly, and bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes. Cut the cake into diamonds while still hot and let cool.

Bake the remaining dough similarly. Chop the couverture and melt it over a double boiler. Dip half of each cookie in the chocolate, let excess drip off, and top with one walnut half.
