Peach and Strawberry Crumble

A fresh dessert featuring peaches and strawberries, perfect for a light treat. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
Ingredients
- 300 g Strawberries
- 4 peaches
- 4 egg whites
- 4 yolks
- 50 g sugar
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 400 g quark
- 50 g Heavy cream
- 20 g flour
- butter (for the tin)
- powdered sugar (to dust)
- blackcurrant jam (for garnish)
Instructions

Wash and pat dry the fruit. Halve strawberries. Cut peaches in half, remove pits, and slice into wedges.

Beat egg whites until very stiff. Preheat oven to 180°C and grease four small baking tins. Mix lemon juice with quark, cream, and flour. Whisk yolks with sugar, then fold into the quark mixture. Gently fold in the meringue. Pour the quark batter into the tins, arrange fruit on top, and bake for 25 minutes.
