Ingredients

  • 400 g Fusilli (spiral pasta or similar)
  • 300 g smoked pork (boneless)
  • 1 stalk leek (large)
  • 1 onion
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • Salt
  • pepper (ground)
  • 50 g grated cheese (e.g., Emmental)
  • 1 tbsp chopped parsley (or other herbs, as desired)

Instructions

    Wash the smoked pork, pat dry and cut into bite-sized pieces. Wash and trim the leek, then slice into rings. Peel and dice the onion.

    In a pan sauté the diced onion in butter, add the pork cubes and cook briefly, then add the leeks and cover to simmer for about 10 minutes, seasoning with salt and pepper.

    Meanwhile, cook the pasta in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente.

    Drain the pasta, let it drain, then mix with the pan contents. Sprinkle with parsley and cheese and serve immediately.
