Ingredients

  • 500 g linguine
  • 1 Shallot
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 2 EL olive oil
  • 500 g peeled canned tomatoes
  • ground chili powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 80 g black olives (pitted)
  • 125 g tuna in its own juice (canned)
  • chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

    Cook the pasta in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente according to package instructions. Meanwhile, peel and finely chop the shallot and garlic. Sauté them in olive oil. Break up the canned tomatoes, add them and cook together. Season with chili powder, salt and pepper for a spicy kick.

    Add the olives and continue cooking briefly. Drain the tuna, break it into pieces and gently fold it in. Drain the pasta, let it dry slightly, then mix with the sauce. Divide onto plates and sprinkle with parsley before serving.
