Ingredients

  • 2 tsp butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 clove garlic (chopped)
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 500 ml Arla Organic grass-fed milk
  • Salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • nutmeg
  • soy sauce
  • 400 g Birkel's No.1 Hornchen pasta
  • 300 g radicchio (1 head)
  • 1 tsp brown sugar
  • 250 g Cherry Tomatoes
  • 4 sprigs oregano
  • 150 g Finello® oven cheese

Instructions

    Melt 1 tsp butter, stir in flour and garlic, and sauté. Add bay leaf, gradually whisk in milk, season with salt, pepper, nutmeg, and soy sauce, then let simmer gently.

    Cook Birkel’s No. 1 Hornchen according to package instructions. Preheat oven to 200 °C (180 °C fan). Grease a baking dish.

    Clean radicchio, quarter it, slice into 1 cm strips, and rinse. Melt remaining butter, sauté radicchio, and season with sugar.

    Halve the tomatoes, finely chop oregano. Combine pasta, tomatoes, radicchio, and sauce in the dish, add 100 g Finello® oven cheese and oregano, mix well. Sprinkle with remaining cheese and bake for about 20 minutes until golden yellow.
