Ingredients
- 400 g farfalle
- 500 g chunked tomatoes (canned, organic)
- 1 onion (finely chopped)
- 1 garlic clove (peeled)
- 2 tsp sugar
- Salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)
- Nutmeg (freshly grated)
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- Basil
Instructions

Cook the farfalle in plenty of salted water until al dente.

Meanwhile, heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onion until translucent. Add the tomatoes and garlic, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer covered over low heat for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally. Season with salt, sugar, pepper, and nutmeg. Remove the garlic clove.

Drain the pasta, place on plates, spoon 3-4 tbsp of sauce over it, sprinkle with basil leaves, and serve immediately.
