Pasta with Spicy Tomato Dandelion Sauce

Ingredients
- 300 g dandelion (cultivated)
- 2 Tomatoes
- 1 can pizza tomatoes
- 1 tbsp Tomato Paste
- 50 ml Vegetable broth
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 60 g black olives (pitted)
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 400 g macaroni
- 1 tbsp Olive Oil
- 2 tbsp capers
- 1 dried chili pepper
- Salt
- pepper (ground)

Wash dandelion hot, clean and cut into ~4 cm long strips. Briefly blanch tomatoes, peel, seed and dice. Cut olives in half-rings. Peel garlic and finely chop.

Cook pasta in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente.

Heat olive oil in a pot, sauté garlic, then add tomatoes and crushed chili pepper over medium heat uncovered for about 5 min. Stir in tomato paste, pour in broth, add pizza tomatoes and simmer for another 5 min. Season with ketchup, salt, pepper and let steam covered for an additional 2 min.

Drain pasta, set aside, toss with sauce and dandelion in bowls, sprinkle olives and capers on top before serving.
