Ingredients
- 500 g Green Asparagus
- 2 red chili peppers
- 2 Garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 100 ml Vegetable broth
- 250 g shrimp (pre‑cooked)
- 500 g orecchiette pasta
- Salt
- 2 tbsp fresh chopped basil
- 1 splash Lemon juice

Peel the lower third of the asparagus and cut the stalks into short diagonal pieces. Wash, trim, and slice the chili peppers into rings. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Sauté everything together in a hot pan with oil for a few seconds. Deglaze with broth and simmer gently for about 8 minutes until the liquid is almost fully reduced. Add the shrimp during the last 3–4 minutes to finish cooking.

Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente.

Add basil to the asparagus, season with lemon juice and salt. Toss the drained pasta (adding a splash of pasta water if needed) and plate.
