Pasta with Ground Beef Sauce

Ingredients
- 8 tomatoes
- 1 onion
- 1 Garlic clove
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 500 g ground beef (beef)
- 1 tbsp Tomato Paste
- 250 ml strong meat broth
- Salt
- pinch sugar
- pepper (from grinder)
- 500 g Maccheroni
- fresh chopped basil
- freshly grated Parmesan

Blanch the tomatoes, shock them, peel, quarter, deseed and dice. Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic. Brown the ground beef in hot oil in a pot while stirring until crumbly and lightly browned. Add the onions and garlic and simmer for another 2-3 minutes. Stir in the tomato paste and pour in the meat broth. Season with salt, sugar and pepper, then stir in the tomatoes. Simmer covered half‑hanging for about 45 minutes, adding more broth if needed.

Cook the maccheroni in salted water until al dente.

Taste the sauce again and toss the drained pasta. Serve in bowls and sprinkle fresh basil and grated Parmesan on top as desired.
