Ingredients
- 400 g penne
- Salz
- 50 g Pine nuts
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 Handfuls Basil
- 150 ml olive oil
- 50 g Parmesan
- pepper (ground)
- 1 splash Lemon juice
- basil for garnish

Cook the penne in boiling salted water until al dente.

Meanwhile, toast the pine nuts in a dry pan until golden yellow. Remove and set aside. Wash the basil, shake off excess water, and pick the leaves. Peel and finely chop the garlic. In a blender combine the garlic, toasted pine nuts, basil, and olive oil to make a smooth pesto. Fold in the Parmesan and season with salt, pepper, and a splash of lemon juice.

Drain the pasta, let it dry slightly, mix with the pesto, serve in bowls, and garnish with basil leaves.
