Pasta with Leek, Turkey Bacon and Herbs

Ingredients

  • 400 g fusilli
  • 100 g turkey bacon (sliced)
  • 1 stalk leek
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 60 g Parmesan
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • a handful basil

Instructions

  1. 1.

    Cook the pasta in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente.

  2. 2.

    Slice the turkey bacon into thin strips. Clean and slice the leek into thin rings. Peel the garlic cloves. Heat the butter in a pot, add the bacon and fry briefly. Add the leek rings and press in the garlic cloves. Sauté for a short while.

    Combine the cooked pasta with the bacon-leek mixture. Season with pepper and grate Parmesan over the top.

    Wash, dry shake, chop the basil and sprinkle it over the dish.
