Pasta with Ground Meat Sauce

- 1 onion
- 1 Carrot
- 100 g parsley root
- 1 Zucchini
- 0.5 bunch marjoram
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 300 g ground meat
- 800 g chunky tomatoes (ready-made)
- 100 g heavy cream
- Salt
- Pepper
- a pinch of sugar
- 500 g macaroni

Peel and dice the onion. Peel the carrot and parsley root, wash the zucchini, and cut all vegetables into 1/2 cm cubes. Wash the marjoram, shake dry, set aside a few stems. Chop remaining leaves. Sauté vegetable cubes with onions in hot oil. Add ground meat and brown until crumbly, then deglaze with tomatoes and simmer for 10-15 minutes until thickened. Stir in heavy cream and marjoram, seasoning with salt, pepper, and sugar.

Cook the macaroni according to package instructions in plenty of boiling salted water until al dente, drain, and immediately mix with the sauce. Serve garnished with reserved marjoram stems.
