Ingredients

  • 400 g fresh anchovy fillets (ready to cook)
  • 300 g green tomatoes
  • Salt
  • 1 onion
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 dried peperoncino
  • 6 tbsp Olive oil
  • black pepper (ground)
  • 400 g spaghetti
  • Basil

Instructions

    Wash the anchovies and split them into two fillets. Clean, wash, quarter, and pit the tomatoes.

    Peel and finely chop the onion and garlic. Bring plenty of water to a boil for the pasta and salt it heavily. Cook the pasta al dente. Chop the peperoncini small. Heat the oil in a pan, sauté the onion and garlic until translucent, add the anchovies and fry over medium heat, then add the tomatoes and peperoncini. Season with salt and pepper and let simmer lightly for 2–3 minutes. Drain the pasta, mix it with the sauce, and serve immediately garnished with basil.
