Ingredients

  • 400 g bow-tie pasta
  • 150 g peas (frozen)
  • 150 g cooked ham (diced)
  • 1 Shallot
  • 1 Garlic clove
  • 150 ml Heavy Cream
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • basil (for garnish)
  • 1 tbsp lime juice

Instructions

    Cook pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Meanwhile, peel and chop the shallot.

    Sauté shallot cubes in butter until translucent, add pressed garlic and ham, cook for 2 minutes. Add peas, pour in cream, simmer for about 3 more minutes, season with lime juice, salt, and pepper. Drain pasta, let it sit briefly, mix with sauce, and plate. Sprinkle basil leaves on top before serving.
