Ingredients
- 1 Carrot
- 1 stalk Celery
- 1 onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 250 g ground beef
- 2 tbsp Tomato paste
- 1 can peeled tomatoes
- 200 ml meat broth
- 400 g whole wheat rigatoni
- Salt
- 50 g Parmesan (piece)
- black pepper (freshly ground)

Clean, peel and finely dice the carrot and celery. Peel and dice the onion and garlic as well. Heat oil in a pan and brown the ground beef until crumbly. Add the onions, garlic, and remaining vegetables and sauté briefly. Stir in tomato paste and tomatoes. Pour in broth and simmer for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Cook rigatoni according to package instructions in plenty of salted water, drain, and let it rest on a plate. Season the Bolognese sauce with salt and pepper, pour over the pasta, and sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan before serving.
