- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 red onions
- 1 chili pepper
- 100 g pancetta
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 600 g small broccoli florets
- 200 ml vegetable broth
- 400 g orecchiette pasta
- Salt
- ground black pepper
- grated parmesan (for topping)

Peel and finely chop the garlic cloves and onions. Wash, trim, and finely chop the chili pepper. Slice the pancetta into strips. In hot oil sauté the pancetta, chili, garlic, and onions for 2-3 minutes until lightly browned; add broccoli and cook for 1 minute before pouring in the broth. Cover and steam for 6-8 minutes.

Cook the pasta in salted water to al dente. Drain and toss with the vegetable mixture. Season with salt and pepper, then sprinkle with parmesan and serve.
