Pasta Vegetable Bake

Ingredients
- 400 g tube pasta (e.g., small macaroni)
- Salt
- 250 g broccoli florets
- 2 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp flour
- 200 ml whipping cream
- 250 ml vegetable broth
- 120 g grated cheese (e.g., cheddar or Emmental)
- 200 g corn kernels (frozen)
- pepper (ground)
- nutmeg
Instructions

Cook the pasta in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside. Blanch the broccoli in salted water for about 2 minutes, then shock in ice water and drain well.

In a hot pot, melt the butter and whisk in the flour. Gradually pour in the cream while stirring. Add the broth and continue to stir; let the sauce simmer until creamy, about 5 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F) with both top and bottom heat.

Remove the sauce from heat, fold in half of the cheese and the corn, season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Mix in the broccoli and pasta, then transfer to a baking dish. Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top and bake for about 35 minutes until golden brown.
