Ingredients

  • 1 packet dry yeast
  • 500 g flour (Type 550)
  • 200 ml lukewarm milk
  • 50 g melted butter
  • 80 g raisins
  • a pinch of salt
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice

Instructions

    Mix the flour with the dry yeast in a mixing bowl, add the melted butter and salt, pour in the lukewarm milk, and knead everything with the dough hooks of an electric mixer into an elastic dough. Cover and let rise in a warm place (oven 50°C) for about 30 minutes.

    Grease the baking tin with butter and line the hole with a piece of foil. Thoroughly knead the dough on a floured surface, incorporating the raisins, then transfer it to the tin. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 1 hour. Remove, let cool slightly, then take out of the pan and allow to cool completely.

    Whisk powdered sugar with lemon juice into a thick glaze and brush over the cake.
