Pan‑fried Meatballs

Spoonsparrow pan‑fried meatballs are easy to prepare, taste great as a party dish, and are perfect for take‑away.
Ingredients
- 1 onion
- 400 g ground beef
- 3 tbsp whole‑grain breadcrumbs
- 1 tsp Mustard
- 1 egg
- Salt
- ground pepper
- 1 tsp thyme
- 100 g sheep cheese
- 3 tbsp Rapeseed oil
Instructions

Peel and finely chop the onion. In a bowl combine onion, ground beef, breadcrumbs, mustard, and egg; mix thoroughly.

Season the mixture with salt, pepper, and thyme. With damp hands form 25 balls.

Cut the sheep cheese into 25 cubes. Press a cavity in each ball, insert a cube of cheese, and knead the meat over it.

Heat oil in a pan and fry the balls in batches until crisp. Drain on kitchen paper, stack them pyramid‑shaped on a plate, and serve.
