Overnight Oats with Mandarin Oranges

Overnight Oats with Mandarin Oranges are an ideal snack for kids. Packaged in a screw-top jar, this breakfast can be enjoyed by the school child.
Ingredients
- 0.5 Carrot
- 80 g rolled oats
- 10 g Flax seeds (1 tbsp)
- Cinnamon
- 200 ml mild orange juice
- 1 Mandarin orange
- 1 small apple
- 1 tsp lemon juice
- 150 g Yogurt (3.5% fat)
- 10 g nuts (1 handful)
Instructions

Peel and finely grate the carrot. Mix with rolled oats, flax seeds, a pinch of cinnamon, and orange juice, and let swell overnight in the refrigerator.

The next morning, peel and cut the mandarin orange into pieces. Wash, dry, grate, quarter, core, and cut the apple into pieces. Mix with lemon juice and mandarin oranges.

In well-closing screw-top jars, layer the soaked oats first, then the yogurt, and finally the apple and mandarin pieces. Roughly chop the nuts and top the Overnight Oats with Mandarin Oranges. Close tightly.
