Porridge with Banana, Chocolate and Peanuts

It's time for chocolate: With the Spoonsparrow banana, chocolate and peanut porridge, you can create the perfect start to the day!

Ingredients

  • 600 ml Oat drink (Oat milk)
  • 200 g soft spelt flakes
  • 14 g Cocoa powder (2 tbsp; heavily defatted)
  • 2 tbsp Maple syrup
  • 50 g Dark chocolate (min. 70% cocoa content)
  • 2 Bananas
  • 60 g unsalted peanuts (4 tbsp)
  • 20 g Cocoa nibs (2 tbsp)

Instructions

    Heat the oat drink in a pot. Stir in the spelt flakes, cocoa powder and maple syrup and simmer for 2-3 minutes over medium heat.

    Roughly chop the dark chocolate. Stir in the dark chocolate and let it melt for about 5 minutes over low heat.

    In the meantime, peel the banana, halve it lengthwise and cut it into approximately 1 cm wide pieces. Toast the peanuts in a hot pan without fat over medium heat for 3 minutes.

    Fill glasses or bowls with porridge and sprinkle with banana, peanuts and cocoa nibs.
