Oven Roasted Potatoes

The oven-roasted potatoes are rich in potassium and vitamin B6, high in fiber, and also contain some vitamin C.

Ingredients

  • 500 g small potatoes (preferably new potatoes)
  • 1.5 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 5 sprigs fresh thyme

Instructions

    Clean the potatoes thoroughly under running water with a brush and halve them lengthwise.

    Whisk the oil with salt and pepper in a small bowl. Wash the thyme sprigs, shake dry, and cut into 2–3 cm pieces with scissors.

    Brush the cut surfaces of the potatoes with the seasoned oil and arrange them cut side down on a baking sheet, placing one thyme piece under each potato. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C (180 °C fan or gas level 3) on the middle rack for 30–35 minutes.
