Oven potatoes with quark from Spoonsparrow: Classic grill combination
Ingredients
- 4 large, mostly waxy potatoes
- Salt
- 4 sprigs thyme
- 200 g Low-fat quark
- 150 g Sour cream
- Pepper
- 1 splash Lemon juice
- 2 tbsp finely chopped herbs (e.g., chives, parsley, basil)
Instructions

Wash the potatoes and brush them thoroughly. Parboil in salted water for about 15 minutes. Drain, let cool briefly, then cut crosswise into slashes. Insert one sprig of thyme into each potato and wrap them completely in aluminum foil.

Bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C (180 °C fan; gas: level 3) for about 15 minutes. Alternatively, place with some distance from the grill flame and cook for about 15 minutes, turning occasionally.

Whisk the quark with sour cream and season with salt, pepper, lemon juice, and herbs.

Open the baked potatoes, spoon 2–3 tablespoons of herb quark into each, and serve immediately.
