Ingredients

  • 500 g tomatoes
  • 4 sprigs basil
  • 250 g mozzarella balls (2 mozzarella balls)
  • 12 slices French country bread
  • 30 ml olive oil
  • Salt
  • pepper (from grinder)

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 210 °C fan‑forced. Wash the tomatoes and slice them. Rinse the basil, shake dry, and pluck the leaves from the stems. Drain the mozzarella and also slice it.

    Brush the bread slices with olive oil and top with tomato and mozzarella. Season with salt and pepper. Place on an oven rack in the preheated oven and bake for 5–7 minutes until bubbling. For serving, scatter basil leaves over the bruschetta.
