Ingredients

  • 200 g old baguette
  • 400 ml milk
  • 2 Eggs
  • 150 g sugar
  • 75 g raisins
  • 1 tsp real bourbon vanilla

Instructions

    Grease the baking dish with butter.

    Cut the bread into slices, place in a bowl, drizzle with milk and let soak for about 15 minutes.

    Beat the eggs with sugar until thick and creamy. Stir in raisins and vanilla.

    Add the egg mixture to the bread and mix thoroughly. Transfer the mixture to the prepared dish and smooth it out.

    Place the dish in a roasting pan. Pour enough boiling water into the pan so that the dish is half submerged. Bake the pudding in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 1 hour.
