Oven-Baked Sea Bream

Ingredients

  • 1 sea bream (ready to cook)
  • 0.5 bunch thyme
  • 100 g mushrooms
  • 1 Red Onion
  • 2 Garlic cloves
  • Sea salt
  • Pepper (freshly ground)
  • 4 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

    Clean the mushrooms and slice them. Peel the onion and cut into strips. Peel the garlic and thinly slice it. Combine all with thyme.

    Wash the sea bream, pat dry, season inside and out with salt and pepper. Stuff about half of the mushroom mixture into the cavity and tie with kitchen twine. Place remaining mushrooms in a baking dish and set the fish on top. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.

    Bake in a preheated oven at 100 °C (low heat) for about 50 minutes. Turn the sea bream halfway through, season again, then remove the twine before serving.
