Ingredients
- 400 g white cabbage
- 400 g red cabbage
- 1 onion
- 1 Garlic clove
- 4 tbsp oil
- cinnamon powder
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
- 600 ml Vegetable Broth
- 1 stalk leek
- 1 can chickpeas
- 50 g dates
- 50 g red lentils
- 4 tbsp Yogurt

Slice white and red cabbage into strips. Dice onion and garlic. Heat oil in a large pot. Sauté onion and garlic until golden yellow. Stir in spices. Add cabbage and pour in broth. Season with salt and pepper. Stir once and cover to simmer for 30-40 minutes.

Cut leek into rings. Drain chickpeas on a sieve. Halve and pit dates. Add leek, chickpeas, dates, and red lentils to the cabbage and cook for another 10 minutes. Taste again with salt and pepper. Serve with a dollop of yogurt.
