Grilled Steak
Here come meat lovers to their delight! Try the Spoonsparrow recipe for grilled steak.
Ingredients
- 4 T-Bone steaks (about 400 g each)
- 2 tbsp plant oil
- Sea salt
- Pepper (freshly ground)

Take the steaks out of the refrigerator about 30 minutes before grilling. Rinse, pat dry, and lightly brush with oil. Season with salt and pepper and place on the grill.

Grill each side for 2-3 minutes until browned. After an additional 2-3 minutes the steak will be approximately rare; test by comparing the resistance of a finger press to that of thumb and index finger.

After another 1-2 minutes per side the steak is medium‑rare; compare resistance to thumb and middle finger. For medium, grill 1-2 more minutes and compare to thumb and ring finger. For well‑done, grill until the resistance matches thumb and pinky. Remove from the grill, wrap in foil for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy with your choice of sides.
