Ingredients

  • 400 g sugar
  • 0.25 l water
  • 6 untreated oranges (thinly sliced zest)
  • 0.25 l 96% alcohol
  • 0.25 l brandy (min. 36%)
  • 0.125 l fruit brandy (min. 36%)

Instructions

    Melt the sugar in a pot while stirring, do not brown it. Carefully whisk in water and cook until the sugar is fully dissolved. Pour the syrup with the orange zest into a bottle. Add pure alcohol, brandy, and fruit brandy, then seal the bottle tightly.

    Leave at a cool place for about 4 weeks. Strain the liqueur and pour it into a clean bottle.
